A selection of the providers we use are: -

Aegon Scottish Equitable:- These have over 175 years experience in the UK, over this period they have been specialising in protection and pensions. Previously the company was just Scottish Equitable but it joined forces with Aegon one of the worlds largest listed life insurance companies.

AXA:- AXA can trace its roots back to the 18th century. Its is now a world leader with over 50 million customers across the world the majority being in Europe, America and the Middle East. AXA offers a very competitive and comprehensive critical illness policy.  

Bright Grey: - Bright Grey is a division of the Royal London Group. The Royal London Group is the UK's largest mutual life and pensions company. Bright Grey is a specialist protection provider. As they are specialists they have been able to mould their plans to suit customers needs and meet these exactly.

BUPA:- BUPA is an international health and care company who’s business spans across 3 different continents. They currently have over seven million customers. The British United Provident Association was set up in 1947 and is most well known for its health care, however it offers a very competitive critical illness contract.

Friends Provident: Friends Provident is one of the leading financial services company in the UK. They offer a large number of protection, pension and investments. It has roots in Gods own county Yorkshire and was originally set up to offer insurance services for the Quakers.

Hitachi Capital: Hitachi Capital is a member of the Hitachi Group of Companies which is one of the largest companies in the world. Hitachi Capital Insurance use 40 different brokers and dealers and account for 250,000 polices in the UK.

Legal and General. Legal and General are probably the most well known company in the UK protection Market. They have 5.7 million clients with protection and general investments. They are also in the top 50 in the FTSE index. Legal and General was formed in 1836 by a number of lawyers.

Liverpool Victoria. Liverpool Victoria is the UK’s largest friendly society. It started in 1843 and its aim was to provide insurance for the poorer people in order for them to have funerals. At that time only the privileged few had enough money to do this.

Norwich Union. Norwich Union is also known as Aviva, they are the 5th largest insurance provider in the world and the largest insurance provider in the UK. Norwich Union Aviva have 45 million customers worldwide.

Pioneer Friendly. Pioneer Friendly are income protection specialists, they were founded in 1888 as a friendly society. They offer a unique income protection plan with a highly personalised service.

Royal Liver. Royal Liver was formed in 1850 and as with some of the other providers is a friendly society. They pride themselves on trustworthiness, competence and care, there is 1 million members of the society with 3 million policed serviced every year.

Scottish Provident. Scottish Provident are one of the main providers of protection in the UK. They have paid out £96.3 million in 2007 alone in critical illness claims. They pride themselves on a flexible and comprehensive contract that suits the clients needs.

Scottish Widdows. Scottish Widdows was founded in Scotland in 1815 and was the first mutual life office. It is probably one of the most recognised brands due to the distinctive advertising campaigns featuring a lady in a black shall. The company is now a part of Lloyds TSB.

Unum. Unum has been providing income protecton for over 35 years and have established themselves as one of the leading providers of income protection in the UK. In 2007 alone they provided income protection for 1.7 million people in the UK.
